Shawn B. Fisher is the Co-President of National Water Services, LLC, a trusted leader in well drilling, pump systems, and water infrastructure solutions for municipal, industrial, and commercial clients. With more than 25 years of experience in the water services industry, Shawn brings deep technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a commitment to quality and sustainability.

Shawn holds drilling licenses in Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, and West Virginia, allowing National Water Services to operate across a wide regional footprint with a consistent standard of excellence. He is also nationally certified by the National Ground Water Association (NGWA) as both a Certified Well Driller (CWD) and Pump Installer (PI)—credentials that demonstrate his advanced knowledge, professional integrity, and dedication to best practices in the groundwater industry.



Shawn possesses extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with a wide range of drilling techniques, including cable tool drilling, bucket drilling, auger methods, reverse circulation, mud rotary, rotary drilling, and downhole hammer systems. His comprehensive understanding of these methods allow him to select and apply the most effective technique for each project’s specific geological and technical requirements.



In addition to his drilling expertise, Shawn has vast knowledge of pump design and application, including the selection, sizing, and installation of pumps for municipal water supply, industrial processing, and high-demand groundwater extraction systems. Throughout his career, Shawn has led the design, development, and maintenance of complex water systems, specializing in deep well construction, high-capacity pump installation, and long-term system performance. He works closely with engineering teams, utility districts, and industrial clients to deliver reliable, code-compliant solutions that meet both current demands and future needs.



Respected for his hands-on approach and client-focused mindset, Shawn continues to drive innovation and operational excellence at National Water Services. His leadership ensures the delivery of safe, sustainable water infrastructure that supports communities and industries across the southeastern United States.


Verlin D. Johnson Jr.

Verlin is a Groundwater Construction and Design Professional with a verifiable track record for the successful execution and completion of Projects across the South Eastern and Midwestern United States through design build delivery method to include planning, design, and permitting, bidding phase support and construction administration responsibilities with goals of providing value and cost efficiency to the Owners and End User.

As a Technical Advisor, Verlin assist with value engineering, cost comparisons, and constructability. Verlin is well-versed to serve as a resource to the entire NWS team having been involved since the mid-2000s in specialized heavy construction building municipal water and wastewater projects. These projects have included Large Scale Groundwater Projects, intakes/ outfalls, underground and deep excavation projects, tunneling, inland marine work, cofferdams, heavy concrete structures, pile driving, ground modification and large diameter pipe installations.

Parker Edwards

President of Pump Operations

Parker is the President of Pump Operations at National Water Services with nineteen years of experience with a major vertical turbine pump manufacturer ensuring quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction in all aspects of operations, helping promote quality standards to hundreds of employees throughout the manufacturing process.

Specializing in fast turnaround and speedy deliveries, without sacrificing quality or performance. Parker uses that expertise in all areas of operations, from manufacturing, to sales, to engineering. By focusing on making sure National Water Services and its customers end up in the winner’s circle on every project. Parker has been able to put the certifications, degrees, and military experience to good use. Over the years, his strengths have garnered some recognition for exceeding budgetary goals and quality standards by leaps and bounds.

When he’s not directing operations throughout the manufacturing plant, Parker is an avid fisherman and loves spending time in the duck blind chasing waterfowl.


Chris McCue

Chief Financial Officer & Controller

Chris is National Water Services LLC Financial Controller.  Chris oversees accounting, business support, financial planning, human resources, tax functions, and analysis.  Chris joined NWS in 2013 as the Accounting Manager.  Chris became Financial Controller in 2016, responsible for all financial operations and reporting directly to the CEO.

Prior to NWS, Chris worked at JPMorgan as a Private Banking Account Manager and Private Wealth Credit Analyst.  His responsibilities included overseeing financial accounts for Private Banking Clients, monitoring credit risk of those clients.

Christopher D. McCue obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Louisville in 2009 and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from Indiana University Southeast in 2012.


Grant Wolf

General Counsel

Grant is General Counsel for National Water Services. He is a graduate of Wabash College, where he majored in Rhetoric and Spanish, and completed his degrees one year early. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Wolf attended Gonzaga University School of Law, where he earned the Dean’s Distinguished Achievement Scholarship; participated in the Accelerated J.D. Program (again, completing his studies a year early); and graduated Cum Laude. While in law school, he was awarded publication by the Washington State Bar Association Section on Antitrust and Consumer Protection Law.

His areas of expertise include transactional drafting; tax; securities regulations; mergers and acquisitions; employment discrimination; commercial litigation; and consumer protection. He has experience litigating in State and Federal Courts, including the Washington State Supreme Court, and the Eastern District of Washington Federal Court. He is also licensed to practice in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Dustin Riley

Dustin Riley is a dedicated professional with over 17 years of experience in water services and pump systems, specializing in Vertical Turbine manufacturing, aftermarket/repair, & sales. At National Water Services, he leads projects with a focus on clear communication, client satisfaction, and effective budget management. Dustin’s background includes leadership roles in branch operations and staff development.  He is also certified in Vertical Turbine Pump training, supporting customer education and compliance. Known for his problem-solving skills and technical expertise, Dustin is a trusted member of our team committed to delivering exceptional results.

Outside of work, Dustin enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his family—especially outdoors. His strong work ethic and love for the outdoors make him a natural fit for the industry and the team.


Jimmy Scroggins

Engineering Manager

Jimmy Scroggins contributes in key areas including enterprise planning, product compliance, engineered documents, and development projects. His specialty is troubleshooting engineering issues, specification review and interpretations, applications, quotes, submittals, and production.

His career journey in the pump industry spans nearly 30 years, complemented by an additional 15 years in power transmission. Jimmy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University,. He holds a Six-Sigma Green Belt and contributes as a voting member to several Hydraulic Institute committees.

Key accomplishments from past roles include successfully leading both domestic and global cross-functional teams, developing pump educational materials for a wide range of audiences (from college students to specifying engineers), and participating in initiatives that dramatically improved factory throughput on engineered products. He has also achieved certifications from the U.S. Department of Energy (HI-40.7), NSF, NFPA, UL, and FM.

Donnie Williams

Senior Project Manager

Donnie Williams brings over four decades of hands-on and management experience to National Water Services, LLC. He began his career in July 1984 as a driller’s helper, quickly gaining valuable field experience and developing a strong foundation in water well construction and drilling operations.

In 1994, Donnie was promoted to Lead Man, where he took on greater responsibility supervising crews and overseeing daily field operations. His deep technical knowledge and leadership earned him a transition into the office in 2000, where he advanced into the role of Estimator and Project Manager. In this position, he played a key role in planning, coordinating, and bidding complex well and pump projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
 
In 2020, Donnie joined National Water Services, where he continues to apply his extensive field and management background to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions for clients across the Midwest. His experience, attention to detail, and commitment to quality make him a vital part of the NWS team.


Tyler Reynolds

Tyler Reynolds is a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Evansville. Tyler brings 13 years of engineering and project management experience to National Water Services. Tyler works as a Project Manager for many of National Water Service’s great clients in the Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio region.

Tyler enjoys solving pump, ground water, filtration, and controls challenges that our clients face by utilizing our many resources and team of experienced experts to obtain solutions quickly and efficiently. Previous engineering experience includes quality control, vendor qualification, lot acceptance testing, and manufacturing process management for US Navy Ohio Class submarine navigation systems at NSWC Crane. Tyler also contributed as a program management representative for Strategic Systems Programs Project Management Office at NSWC Crane overseeing the qualification testing of an ACAT 1 program at NSWC Crane for the Columbia Class submarine.


Tony Alley

Tony began his career at the water utility in my hometown of New Castle, Indiana. In 1995, he started in the Water Well & Pump Service Industry, working primarily in Central and Southern Indiana. In 2012, he transferred to Jackson, Mississippi to manage an established office.

In 2016, Tony accepted a position with National Pump/American Turbine and moved to Texas where he covered the Midwestern States. In 2017, he returned to the service side and covered Eastern Texas for the largest water well drilling and service company in East Texas.

In January of 2022, Tony returned to Indiana and joined National Water Services, working in Northern Kentucky and Southern Indiana. In the fall of 2022, he was promoted to Director of Sales covering Indiana and Kentucky – concentrating on growing the Indiana business. 


Cody Brothers

Project Mngr. – Indiana & Kentucky

Cody Brothers is an experienced draftsman and project surveyor with over a decade of expertise in land surveying and CAD drafting. Currently with National Water Services, he supports water infrastructure projects throughout Southern Indiana and Kentucky, preparing quotes, assisting with pump and motor specifications, and supporting well rehabilitation and installation projects.

An Orange County, Indiana resident, Cody previously served as a field coordinator and crew chief at Bledsoe Riggert Cooper & James, where he managed field crews, conducted topographic and cadastral surveys, and handled construction layout and environmental projects.

Cody is highly proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and GPS-based survey equipment. He holds an A.S. in Conservation Law Enforcement and brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to every project he undertakes.


Steve Anderson

Operations Manager – Tennessee

Steve has been manager/supervisor for both commercial and municipal water well construction projects. His responsibilities include project estimating, contract negotiations, project management, materials ordering and coordination, client relations, billing and contract closeout.

Steve began his career in the Groundwater Industry in 1992. He has been involved in domestic, commercial, and surface water drilling. He has been involved in well design, construction testing, data collection, data base establishment, field modeling, and drill cutting sample sieve analysis for well designs. His drilling experience includes air rotary, mud rotary, reverse circulation and soils drilling techniques. Steve has been manager/supervisor for both commercial and municipal water well construction projects.

His responsibilities include project estimating, contract negotiations, project management, materials ordering and coordination, client relations, billing and contract closeout.


Ryan McMurray

Senior Project Manager

Ryan is an expert well and pump equipment troubleshooter. He has over 28 years of professional and practical experience in the well drilling and pumping industries.

Ryan’s specialty is in efficient water production encompassing well drilling using the mud rotary method and irrigation water well drilling using the reverse flow method, pulling and setting pumps and pumping equipment. He has been instrumental in disassembly, inspection and repairing of submersible and vertical turbines and cased pumps. Ryan currently manages the customer accounts for the Memphis operations in the Southeast Region.


Ray Smith

Vice President of Southern Operations

Ray has 49 years of experience in the Groundwater Industry. Truly a Ground Water Professional, leader, mentor and manager with safety, quality and customer satisfaction at the top of his list each and everyday. Ray directs day-to-day operations by spearheading implementation of short-term and long-term strategies.

Through methods and means Ray is able to address discoveries, omissions and unknowns without cost impacts to the client or NWS, completing projects on time and on budget. A dedicated Project Manager, Ray completes full-scale project plans, including overseeing engineering activities and design processes. He is also responsible for establishing training programs that enhance employee knowledge of best practices, resulting in improved customer satisfaction.

Josh Gavin

Operations Manager – Ohio

Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After graduating, he began a career in environmental consulting where Josh learned the basics of drilling and well installation before starting at National Water Services. Through his years at NWS, he has gained a wealth of knowledge in well rehabilitation, pump repair, well drilling and well/pump troubleshooting.

Josh contributes as a steady hand at water production well drilling using the bucket auger and cable tool drilling methods, assisted in pulling and setting pumps and pumping equipment, and have assisted in disassembly, inspection and repairing of submersible; vertical turbine; and split-case pumps.
